Noonday Camp consist of upper and lower camp as shown in the USGS topo map in the photo gallery below. No structures remain only foundations with the exception of the Anaconda Mill which upon our visit in Novemeber 2016 barely existed. Deteriorated practically to a pile of timbers. The mill supported the nearby War Eagle, Columbia and Noonday mines.
locals ravaged the camp
The town was built by the Finley Company in the 1940’s to house miners. It was then useed by the miners of the Anaconda Copper Company and later by Western Talc mining until the 1970’s when locals ravaged the camp to foundation level. 20 or so foundations exist as well as a cemetery.
