Chloride-City

Chloride City is best known for the ruins of several “dug out” style dwellings (east of the pin) accessible by 4 wheel drive vehicles only. Also known for the lone grave of “James McKay” which no one knows anything about him.

The town popped up during the 1905 Bullfrog strike and was abandoned a year later. Wikipedia and the NPS state there are 3 stamp mill ruins. I haven’t been here but I have never seen any photos of any stamp mills here. If you photograph them please let me know! Comments welcome below.
